Meet Our Ditmas Park Security Supervisor!
We periodically spotlight some of our dedicated personnel and staff members and this article is no exception.
We are proud to introduce you to our wonderful Security Supervisor, Mr. Nana “Bo” Osei Yaw!
In His Own Words
I have been the front desk security supervisor at Ditmas Park Rehab & care center for over 25 years. My responsibilities include meeting and greeting all of our visitors as well as providing security services for the facility. I was born and attended a 4 year military cadet school in Ghana. I then lived in the United Kingdom before moving to the US. I had a short stint in Washington, D.C before finally moving to Brooklyn in the 1980’s. Throughout my years here, staff and residents have come and gone, but one thing which has remained the same is the warm atmosphere and caring approach of our staff. We always have been and will continue to be known as a great facility for you and your loved one. I enjoy welcoming people into our building and being the first face people see when they come through our doors. The best part about working at Ditmas Park is that everyone feels like family to me. I have developed friendships that will last a lifetime. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season with friends and loved ones. When stopping by for holiday visits, please don’t forget to sign and obtain your visitors pass before heading upstairs. Thank you!!
